Our Sylvan yarn is ultra-magnificent. This 3-ply, DK weight yarn is perfect for knitting heirloom-quality sweaters, delicate shawls, and lightweight cardigans. The cool gray color is natural (undyed) and the absolute perfect neutral. It pairs beautifully with any color.

Dye Lots
As with any hand-dyed yarn, slight variations between batches are normal. If you order more than one skein of a color, we'll send skeins from the same dye lot. For larger projects, we recommend alternating skeins every few rows.
Notes
Sylvan has little elasticity, so garments will relax with wear. Block and hang your swatch before measuring gauge. For longer-lasting garments, we recommend holding it with mohair to reduce pilling. Not recommended for socks. Hand wash cool and dry flat.

The new skeins are from a different dye lot but are nearly identical to the others. The consistency in color is incredible and I can't wait to purchase more yarn from you!
I have bought from CFC twice now, and had a very hassle and stress-free experience both times! I first tried the Sylvan DK base in Chicory, which is such a gloriously soft yarn in a lovely slightly muted blue. Feels almost absurdly smooth and silky, with fantastic drape.
I own a lot of Camellia Fiber Company yarn now and needless to say, I love them all. My favorite yarn base is Sylvan and Suri. I knit gifts for my family often and they're so soft and gentle.
