Doodle Cowl Knitting Workshop - 4 weeks

Join us for Doodle Cowl, a fun and creative knitting class focused on stranded colorwork. Students can choose between two styles: an infinity cowl or a standard cowl. If you’re making the standard cowl, the ribbing should be completed before the first class so we can jump right into the fun part together.

In this class, you’ll learn how to combine yarns for stranded colorwork, read and work from colorwork charts, and even create your own unique chart combinations. The main focus of the project is building confidence and skill in knitting stranded colorwork, all while designing a cowl that reflects your personal style. 

Supplies not included. Don't worry, they will be available for purchase if you don't have them! All students get 20% off in-store purchase during the weekly duration of this class.

When: April 8 - 29. Wednesday nights for 4 weeks 

Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm (2 hours)

What to bring:
- Yarns: DK yarn, non-superwash wool, in 2-4 contrasting colors. Standard Cowl: 200-675 yards; Infinity Cowl: 650-860 yards
- Needles:  circular needles, US 4 & US5 for Standard Cowl, US5 for Infinity Cowl
Accessories: Stitch holders/cords or waste yarn to place sleeve stitches on hold.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Several Stitch markers and a distinctive marker for beginning of round
