Som is a wonderful yarn with a unique brushed chainette construction. This unique yarn gives the same effect as holding a wool and mohair or suri together, as such, it can be used in patterns which call for two yarns held together.
Som is a super lightweight DK, much loftier than you might expect from a Baby Alpaca blend. This is one of our softest yarns and can be worn next to skin by nearly everyone. This is a wonderful yarn both for garments and accessories.
