Before and After : Camellia Fiber Company Studio

When we first moved into our new location back in May of 2023, I had no idea how much work and love would go into this small space. Everything was rebuilt by our hands - my husband (who's a contractor) and me. 

Our biggest challenge (and most expensive project) was the ceiling. We only had a month to get ready because my lease was ending in my previous studio. We boarded up the ceiling, built a wall for the dye space, put a fresh coat of white paint, and literally moved in as the paint was drying. 

After a year and half, we have finally opened our shop last week for Small Business Saturday. Our outdoor sign literally arrived on Friday - so we were literally installing it in the dark before opening the next day. And yes, we have a pink door! 🩷

Our last and final step is the dye studio in the back. More updates to come in 2025. I am so lucky to have found this little place. I feel very fortunate to be able to be creative and be supported by this community. It's been a touch but also wonderful journey that I am grateful for. I hope you can come visit us soon.
